Wow, 30 years already! After leaving high school (yes, I was a dropout) I worked at various jobs including Canadian Tire and eventually worked in a lab as a receptionist. After that exposure I decided to go back to school and 3 years later graduated from BCIT with my Lab Technology certificate. Shortly after that I moved to B.C. and after a few moves around I have settled in the lovely Walnut Grove area in North Langley. I started working in the lab at Royal Columbian Hospital in 1989 and have been there ever since in various capacities. I am now the Technical Coordinator of the microbiology department and enjoy it a lot. I am active in church activities and have a great group of friends. In 1991 my sister gave up one of her kidneys for me (what a great sister!) and since then I have been in great health. I am now considering pursuing a degree in Lab Sciences. You could say I eventually did become a good student.
I am thankful to my heavenly Father for all the blessings he has given me both in my health and in my work and home.
