Hi 1979 Graduates!

Our 30th year reunion is being planned by a committee of dedicated classmates. Involved are:

  • Loretta Monsma (Prins)
  • Edith Houtstra (VandenBrink)
  • Henny Schenk (Grimmon)

The response from those who have created a profile on this site has been great so far! We're very encouraged by the enthusiasm and "buzz" created from old classmates.

We're having two events - an afternoon reception for Classmates and Teachers only at the High School Atrium with Drinks and Appetizers (Toonie Bar for Wine/Beer), followed by an evening dinner for Classmates and Spouses, as well as Teachers and their Spouses, at the Glendale Golf & Country Club. Full bar service in the evening will be provided by the Golf Club. Dress is business casual; absolutely no jeans allowed.

We've hired a professional photographer for the day to capture "interesting people and moments". We plan to put together an electronic "Reunion Book" and post it to this site. Reprints of the photographs will also be available for ordering on this site.

We've priced the events so that Classmates' tickets cover all costs associated with the Reunion, including the website, photographer, and the two events, as well as covering the cost of the teachers' attendance at the Drinks & Appetizer. The Dinner tickets cover just the cost of the dinner, and are meant to be purchased by your Spouse and Teachers.
